I've decided to be a single adult childless woman.

Most people aren't aware that I've refused to be in most relationships because childhood abuse has left me vulnerable to other types of abuse, and I don't want that translating into what should be romance. That, and I typically don't care to be in a relationship unless I'm balls-crazy for a dude.

Childless because I'm not interested in children, but I also don't want to risk passing along the abuse to them. I won't even hold other people's babies or connect with kids until they're closer to 10.
