2. I loathe Yuffie. I hate her so much that when replaying FFVII I didn't pick her up in the group. However I'm not going to get upset if people pair her with Vincent. It's no skin off my nose and I don't have to read them if I don't want to.

But....I am toying with a fic where Vincent can't stand Yuffie. Because I do think she would annoy the hell out of him.

10. What is it with the cutsy Kadaj thing? He was a sadistic, evil little bastard in the movie. (the ending kind of spoiled that *sigh*). No, I don't think he was misunderstood...I think he was just a nasty brat.

While Yuffie isn't exactly my favorite character, the only time I don't like her is when fans make her a wangsty sue about to have VINCENT'S BABY skjfdhkjds ew. She's not a bad character otherwise.

I think Vincent and Yuffie actually do work as a platonic, father-daughter or older brother-sister pairing, but I don't ever see him being interested in her romantically.

I think the deal with Yuffie is that she reminds me of someone I know in real life who I can't stand. Isn't that usually where these intense dislikes of totally fictional characters comes from? :D

But looking past that rather irrational reaction, yeah I can see a relationship between Vincent and Yuffie working if it's a father-daughter, older brother-sister type of thing. But I still think he would find her a bit annoying.
