Chase from House. I too would bang and I almost never go for guys with long hair.

For me it is. I'm not a fan of hair that below the ears.

Hmm that'd be medium to me because the front is shorter, if that were past his chin it'd be long to me

I wonder if there's an official standard anywhere

That is probably why I find him attractive even with that hair! Because it is that medium in between spot.

edit: I found this online. http://www.menshairforum.com/talk/Thread-Official-Hair-Length-Guide-for-Men-Shaved-Short-Medium-and-Long

Also, this. Not related but is hilarious. http://th03.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/f/2012/234/a/f/male_hair_length_chart_by_libertas_supra_omnia-d5c0033.png

Damn that forum is entirely too serious about hair for me

Jesse Spencer's been keeping his hair quite short lately, playing a fireman on Chicago Fire.

I've been meaning to watch that! Is it any good?

Lucky you, his hair hasn't been that long in a while.

He's now on Chicago Fire and his hair is much shorter (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2072968448/nm0817980?ref_=nmmi_mi_all_sf_3). I actually think he looks a little better with the longer hair, some of the time at least.

Sorry, I wish I could tell you. I've only see the promos. If it helps, it is exec produced by Dick Wolf (Law and Order), it has a few actors I would consider pretty good, and it has spawned a spin-off (which usually indicates a certain amount of popularity). I was just never interested enough in the premise to check it out.

Chigaco Fire has great characters, but the writing disappoints. It's mostly just drama, drama, DRAMA* when it should be more about fire fighters! Every episode they're dispatched once or twice, which is great, but I would love to see more of them at the scenes. If the situation demands someone be saved we usually see that, otherwise the shots at the scene are usually just mood setting, unfortunately.

The characters and their relationships are for the most part absolutely great, though. If they cut out the constant unnecessary drama (seriously, as though as one thing is resolved, another problem comes up!) and put more focus on the actual fire fighting this would be an amazing show.* As it is I'd say it's a tick above average.

*I think this is really obvious with Chigace PD, which is a spin-off of Chigago Fire. In CF several cop characters show up semi-regularily (the constant drama in the characters' lives sometimes requires police intervention), which they eventually put in their own spin-off show. But CPD just isn't an interesting show, because it's basically every lackluster cop show out there; the only thing that made CF interesting is the fire fighting aspect because that hasn't been done to death already.
