Re: Magical Weight Gain...
(Anonymous) 2015-04-30 11:47 pm (UTC)(link)Re: Magical Weight Gain...
(Anonymous) 2015-04-30 11:57 pm (UTC)(link)It honestly isn't that much more work -- I usually weigh everything out while I'm waiting for something to cook so it's not like I waste a lot of time per day.
If I want a snack, I just grab a cup, zero the scale, weigh it out and then log it. Adds maybe ten seconds.
Re: Magical Weight Gain...
(Anonymous) 2015-05-01 12:13 am (UTC)(link)Being careful and organized is great, but not if it means a tendency to hyperfocus on what is almost certainly a trivial and temporary weight gain. Almost everyone in this thread is telling you it's just bloating/water weight, annoying and frustrating but perfectly normal. Yes, it happens out of the blue sometimes. Yes, it happens even when you're careful with diet and exercise, because your body isn't really a machine and it doesn't function as predictably as machines usually do.
So please, cut yourself a break. I promise you that you'll be a lot more successful with your weight loss if you don't beat yourself up over ever small setback.
