I would say at the very least Remembrance of the Daleks and then all four season 26 serials (Battlefield, Ghost Light, Curse of Fenric, and Survival) are worth watching. And, really, mostly pretty fantastic.

I also enjoy a lot of the earlier ones - I love Delta and the Bannermen, and Dragonfire and Happiness Patrol have their moments - but those are maybe more of an... acquired taste.

The only downside to Curse of Fenric is you have to have watched Dragonfire (which is okay apart from the very literal cliffhanger) and Silver Nemesis (which is a hot festering mess) to get the most of it. It was an experiment in arc based story telling before anyone at the BBC had worked out how to do a a multi-season story arc.
