Text: Sometimes
I feel like I want to save a whole lot of discussions, fanwork and supplementary media (e.g. articles/interviews) so I can have an external record of my, um, fandom life-geist? Of the stuff I loved.
All I have now is a handful of articles I told myself were for research reference. I doubt I'm ever going to do it.
What's it going to be for, my kids? What kids?
A digital monument to my bad taste?
But I think about it. I was here and these frivolous things made me happy.

I liked all fanstes where the site runner published stuff about their fandoms. It was usually one, sometimes more fandoms. Nowadays blogs serves the same purpose. So you might post everything you enjoy on Blogspot, for example. Hmm, haven't seen a lot of fandom talk there, come to think about it.

(Anonymous) 2015-05-02 01:52 am (UTC)(link)I just view it the same as saving fanart and fanfic.

(Anonymous) 2015-05-02 03:38 am (UTC)(link)You sound like me OP. Who am I going to share this with? My best friend who has probably had it with all my [censored] fannishness? The guy I'll marry some day who incidentally has fannish tendencies himself (not that I would know, as I haven't met him yet)?
And yet...at least I can look back fondly on my youth and fandom times. lol.
