Someday I will finally run out of room for all the books I buy and there won't be room for another person.

Same. I keep books I've recently been reading beside my pillow (and I so rarely put them away there's always about a dozen there) so there's not even space in my bed, let alone my house.

I've created a little wall out of about 15 stacks of books that are about 2-3 feet tall each for the ones that won't fit on my bookcases.

I literally have more books than bookshelves to put them on. I am out of wallspace for more bookshelves, so the extra books are in boxes. I'm a book hoarder.

(But I'm trying to thin out my collection.)
