IDK, Gwen seemed pretty miserable to me.

Yeah, she was miserable, but she was never called on her attitude or actions, and often the narrative POV suggested she was right, even though her actions were blatantly questionable.

I'm just happy Eve Myles has a career these days. Whatever happened to GDL? Still fronting that shitty band?

A little television- he did the last few episodes of Waterloo Road. Currently or maybe just wrapped a theatre tour of Twelve Angry Men. A couple of Indy horror films in post production and a lead role in a miniseries based on a fantasy novel in the pipeline, oh and he's doing a convention on a cruise ship this summer. Busy, but not hitting the dizzying heights of Burn Gorman's career.

Also he voiced a character called Solas in a videogame called Bioware.

He was a pretty major character.

i think Eve Myles has always had a career, she seems to have worked steadily. I don't mind her but don't find her that engaging, often too histrionic, which I used to think must have been a Gwen thing, but she does it a lot, Frankie was way too dramatic.

I reckon GDL, much as I loved Ianto the most, probably isn't as saleable. He's of an age where there are a lot of competing actors who can offer something a bit extra, he's probably really only going to get anywhere on television, he's just not a Benedict Cumberbstch or Eddie Redmayne.. Let alone the wonderful Welsh actors who are doing well such as Michael Sheen. I feel bad saying it cos I was such a fan of his, but seeing him in other things, I think he is a good telly actor...I'd like to be proved wrong, see him do an RSC production or a major film and really shine..
