And...now I'ma play the hypocrite card.
How is the protagonist letting Keisuke die any less a judgement on his worthiness to live than Keisuke attempting to kill Kaido's guys et al.?

(Anonymous) 2015-05-02 01:50 am (UTC)(link)As for hypocrisy . . . I dunno, it seems like a general problem when your only choices are "save" and "kill." Devil Survivor actually handles it way better than most, since saving him means getting him to stop killing people, and since the complete breakdown of society eliminates other options. In some other RPGs, I seriously had to wonder why the person who was killing people couldn't just be arrested.
