Speaking of Diff'rent Strokes, I also remember the Special Episode about racism (well, one of them) where Kimberly's prom(?) date turns out to be racist, so she dresses up in black face when he comes to pick her up in order to teach him that race doesn't matter. It was a nice effort but...black face.

yeah, my family and I were actually talking about that episode a few days ago and my parents were reminiscing about how surprisingly disturbing it was even for an episode about molestation. it was pretty creepy.

I think there was an episode like that with Smart Guy? Except I never saw the different strokes one, but the smart guy one made me feel uncomfortable around older men for ever thereafter.
