The other sections of the bookstore I visit are religion and cooking. Which. . .never seem to have people my age if anyone.

If I have had someone chew me out in a McDonalds for what was on my T-Shirt. . .you never know. ._.

I had an experience similar to that. A guy once started preaching at me for what my tee shirt said. I find that walking away from the crazies helps. I never stopped wearing my shirt after that incident. I'm not someone who's very confrontational either, but I'm not going to inconvenience myself because other people think I give a shit about what they think.

Just take a breathe and browse the manga section. Don't make eye contact, that helps too! Get your manga and leave when you're ready, you'll feel way less burdened when you stop worrying about how other people are going to react. I'm pretty sure that most of them are like me and won't give a crap about you. Nothing personal ~.^
