26. I have to agree. Mikuru was too much of a MoeBlob for me to really like. Haruhi at least had personality and could be likable, but Mikuru was too much of a doormat for my taste (though I know why she is one).

1. I can't stand going into the manga section when people are hovering there, either! Not only are they tripping hazards, but I've seen a few of them give me dirty looks before when I say "excuse me" so I can grab a book that they're blocking. W-What? I just wanna get my Welcome to the NHK and xxxHOLIC and be left in peace.

7. I prefer Cloud/Tifa to Cloud/Aerith. ♥ Maybe the latter would have been "better", but I think that Tifa could just as easily been the home that Cloud has lost, and I think that now that she has evolved as a character, Tifa would be better for him than Aerith.

I love Aerith, but I think Cloud would be better with someone more -- grounded. Aerith was surreal and mystical, whimsy. Tifa was... real.

Squeeing fangirls would be awesome, but I think my favorite moment from way back in high school when I used to watch reruns on PBS was the day in one of my classes when Are You Being Served? came up in conversation somehow and a handful of the popular boys enthusiastically admitted they were hooked on it.

These are the same boys who used to play chess with one another in study hall. Looking back on it, our graduating class was awesome. :)

7. That is exactly why I loved Tifa in FF7, and she's really the only character I actually like (I like Aeris for the purely shallow reason of her being pretty). Honestly, if I was put in her shoes, I wouldn't know what to say either if my best friend started a story that's true, but I didn't know that they were there to witness it. She just didn't know what to do. It's true that Aeris would have spoken up if she knew (which she... partially did, actually), but Tifa isn't Aeris.

Besides, in the end, she was the one who helped Cloud bring himself back together. When Tifa realized what her inaction did, she took it upon herself to look after Cloud, and I respected her a lot more when she left my party so she could take care of her friend. She knows it's her fault. And she made up for it.

The only thing I don't like about Tifa is that she wastes more of her time on Cloud than I honestly think she should. I don't ship Cloud/Tifa because I think Cloud isn't worth it. :/
