1. It's the opposite for me. I'm afraid of going near the manga section at bookstores when there's others around in case they're non-manga-fans (the manga's sandwiched between the graphic novels and sci-fi) who will look down on me for hanging around the manga section for too long. :(

When at the bookstore, I tentatively take a quick pick down the manga section aisle and if there are people there, I walk down and stare at the graphic novels for a bit (there's always one for me to read anyways). Sometimes, I'll overhear odd convos and such and other things.

Sometimes, I'll just avoid the aisle completely if people have camped there or if I feel daring, I walk in a "please move. You're blocking the aisle" way.

Oh and I've given advice for slightly more than confused parents before since I don't look like a teenager or anything (granted, I'm still pretty young). XD

I watched that in French when I was a kid! I LOVED IT DEARLY. Wish Radio-Canada would re-air it again, it was a very good series but I missed the remaining episodes as it was getting more and more exciting.
