Don't worry, you sound just like myself so at least your not alone. Though I get even worse than you do. I refuse to tell anyone at all that I like manga (or just mumble what I'm reading and run for it) for the same reasons. Though I have learned to put on sunglasses and headphones when shopping as to deter people nearby from asking "Whatcha getting?" or "So, what do you like?" (As well as people in general who do "casual chit-chat" when I'm lugging ten bags around the shopping center.)

2) Awesome as it is that you wrote a Golden Sun secret, I'm gonna have to call your judgement on this and say that Jenna =/= Hermione. If it was Mia, I'd agree, because Mia is awesome, but Jenna's pretty much dead weight until she picks up enough Djinn to use Aura, just because so many of the enemies are resistant to Fire Psynergy. She doesn't even have the "I AM GOING TO LAST FOREVER" that is Garet's Defense and Hit Points, just...

1. wow, your secret brought back memories for me. My friends and I,in highschool, would often do exactly what those little fanaticals were doing. But, we'd always leave as soon as someone else came along and disturbed our silence--mostly for the same reason you did. however, our anime section in the bookstore was tucked away in a corner, so we rarely actually clogged any aisles.

Actually. . .it's kind of funny. Two of the bookstores I go to actually put manga in two sections. They have a smaller group of it back in children's books. ( But it has manga like Tsubasa, Love Hina, and D-Gray Man. )

So sometimes I will just head back there as it seems like no one but me knows about it.

I can understand thinking that maybe Light didn't do the greatest job in the world--personally, I think he didn't make much in the way of mistakes, aside from what a mistake the whole endeavor was, but I'm sure people could point out examples. However, it's something that's so complicated and so unpredictable that no, you can't say you would do it better. You haven't tried, and you won't have the opportunity to try. In general, it's not good to assume that you will be superior when it hasn't been tested.
