Though, completely unrelated but maybe, I wanna see James Nesbitt in Doctor Who somehow. Steven Moffat writes episodes for it and I've recognized a bunch of actors from Jekyll in series 4. C'mooon. bring 'im in. Make him the new Doctor or Master please.

1. I sometimes feel a little self concious about buying manga in a bookstore, but it's cause I worry that the staff will think im a loser who doesn't know 'real books' XD!

11: ...okay, confession time: I never "got" Al/Sam. I mean, if you're going to ship either of them with anyone it would have to be each other since they never spend any time onscreen with anyone else for more than an episode (apart from that one time with the evil leaper, but that was never going to go anywhere), but still. Aren't they intangible to each other? Isn't that kind of a hurdle? Anyway, I always thought Al was kind of annoying... go ahead and be suspicious, I don't mind. :)

19: I'm the other way around. I can't watch S1 or S2 eps any more without thinking "Man, this'd be so much cooler with Martha." Even the eps I'd thought were perfect the first time... To me, Martha makes everything better.

41: Unfortunately, this kind of thing is not limited to anime/manga fandoms... though it's more common there, I think, because those fandoms skew younger. It's a little less annoying when a fan writes like a twelve-year-old if they're actually twelve.

1. That looks exactly like my Borders. I hate those people who just sit there. I tend to circle around to the back of the shelf, pick up a Batman graphic novel, or something, and then shoo them away with it. Then I get my manga too.

They give me a somewhat hurt-puppy look, but they don't say anything when I grab my manga and shove past them, using my Batman as a shield against their manga-fanaticism.

I don't know what it is about western comics, but it seems to hurt them, like sunlight to a vampire. And I don't mean that as snobby as it sounds, it was just an analogy in observation of a strange anomaly I have experienced.

15. eh, that's not so bad, really. If we only had the first season to go by, I'd find this a little stranger or disagree that it could be a successful pairing. But they were completely undeniable in season two. Hell, I personally thought Dorothy was pushed aside in favor of Angel.

18. I used to watch that show all the time in high school. And I know half a dozen people who would join in the fandom if someone started one. In fact, if we can get a girls only group going we can call ourselves Mrs. Slocombe's Pussies. ;)

That's how that particular artist draws all of her "men". Basically, they all look the same and you can spot it from a mile away.

I think it's the lack of indent in the bridge of their noses that gets to me the most. Their noses just look like ski jumps to me.

1. I've had this happen to me once - a girl hanging out conspicuously in the manga section proceeded to try and give me recs. I was polite but ignored her. They won't kill you, just stand your ground and tell them to get the heck up out of the aisle so that others can pass!
