1. I can't stand going into the manga section when people are hovering there, either! Not only are they tripping hazards, but I've seen a few of them give me dirty looks before when I say "excuse me" so I can grab a book that they're blocking. W-What? I just wanna get my Welcome to the NHK and xxxHOLIC and be left in peace.

22. No need to apologize for not liking something. I'd say you seem surprisingly civil about it considering I've seen other people who dislike the medium, and then go on to repeatedly bash the people that do.

36. You hooked me the instant I spotted the name "Diogenes", but then you lost me with "Edward" XD; Ah, my knowledge of fandom needs work! But it's partially a Pendergast secret, so horray none the less! That's all I can comment with, though, since I'm not familiar with the other character.

Edward is from the Anita Blake novels. But YAY! Someone recognized the name Diogenes! I figured he'd be the one no one recognized. XD

Oh oh, okay! XD Thanks for letting me know! And go figure, hm? I'm still a bit in shock at seeing the name Diogenes in the first place, because I know so very few people familiar with that series. Fans unite, yay! ♥

Tell me about it. For books as awesome as the Pendergast series, hardly anyone seems to know about them. Instead, undeserving authors and their even more undeserving series' get all the fandom love. :(

And since I now realize that doesn't explain anything...

Edward is the token sociopathic character from ABVH. The early incarnations of him are a good deal like Diogenes Pendergast: both insane, both have more than one identity, no real friends, like to kill people, terrible taste in women. They aren't so much alike now that LKH's writing is really going downhill and Dio had his little run in with the volcano (RIP boys T_T), but their characters when they first appeared in their respective series' were almost identical except for appearance, and seeing as Diogenes can put a chameleon to shame with the way he disguises himself...

Yeah, appearance isn't a factor. And he had to be somewhere for 20 years while he planned his Ultimate Crime, so why not New Mexico with the occasional trip to St. Louis?
