I love Six and not to be nonconformist -- I expected to hate him when I watched, but I wound up loving him. I just think his personality made a huge and awesome amount of sense, coming after Five and considering how Five's last few serials went down.

I wasn't being all that serious, I respect Six fans even if I'm not really one myself.

I agree that his personality made sense, I think most of the problems with his run were more to do with execution than concept.

My favourite Doctors are Five, Six and Nine. Nine was my first Doctor, Five was my second (my best friend grew up watching video tapes of the original series and Five was her favourite, so lent me all her copies of DVDs of his episodes) and I just like 6.

Makes perfect sense. I do think the "idea" of Six is better than his actual screentime...he's one of those characters that benefits from meta.
