My favourite Doctors are Five, Six and Nine. Nine was my first Doctor, Five was my second (my best friend grew up watching video tapes of the original series and Five was her favourite, so lent me all her copies of DVDs of his episodes) and I just like 6.

Makes perfect sense. I do think the "idea" of Six is better than his actual screentime...he's one of those characters that benefits from meta.
