I went 26 years without ever breaking a bone. Then a month and a half after turning 27, I both jammed my right thumb and fractured it just above the first knuckle, on opposite sides. I then may have fractured it again during the healing process because I now have a weird bony lump on my knuckle and am unable to bend it anymore. All this cuz I was trying to kill a mouse my cats were too dumb to kill. Sigh.

I also have a scar from the time when a hot clothing iron fell on my left forearm when I was 7. It would have fallen on my then 2 year old sister's back if I hadn't intervene. There's also a few little white scars on my knees from when I was like 2 and had gotten hold of a knife. =x Nothing impressive but I'm always surprised to realize they're still there.
