The only broken bone I ever had was a stress fracture in my first right metatarsal. I wore a supportive shoe for two weeks. When that didn't work, I went to a boot. That didn't work either, so then I had to have a cast...for a stress fracture. That was annoying, but it was also only for two weeks.

As a kid I hit my face on a flowerpot and lost a baby tooth, and also busted my lip open and it bled so much that my folks took me to the ER and I got a bunch of stitches. I still have a scar from it even though in theory I wasn't supposed to have one, but it's not really noticeable unless I point it out, or use my tongue to bulge my lip out. I call it my beauty mark :P
