Ooh, ooh, I have a good one! Cheap art can often be found in some pretty unlikely places like self-help groups, advocacy groups, and auctions for senior residences. Check your local event listings, because truly some of these places have incredibly talented artists who are selling their works cheaply for a good cause. You can even feel doubly good about it knowing your dollars are often going to charity or to advocacy for battered women or something similar.
