Dream Vacation

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be? What would you do? Do you think you'll ever actually go?

Dream trip would be a train ride across Europe. I would take a whole summer. I would visit all the cities and all the best historical sites.

If I had to pick just one place, it would be St. Petersburg, Russia.

I want to go to France to see my grandparents. It's the most wonderful, peaceful, relaxing place in the world for me.

Worldwide cruise.

I hate flying. We have family in New Zealand and my mom wants to take a cruise to Hawaii and then another cruise to Australia, and I've always really liked that idea. I've been on Caribbean cruises and I enjoy them.

I doubt I would ever do it though. It's a big time commitment and I'm not sure if it would still be fun for more than a few weeks.

England because of all the history. Think of the museums! No, I doubt I will ever go because of lack of money.

Bhutan. I'd love to spend a hiking holiday in Bhutan. Obviously I never will, because it is fucking expensive and I'm now physically disabled so hiking holidays anywhere are out. I can still dream though. Or a "Silk Road" horse and camel trail. I saw one of those advertized a few weeks ago. Take a horse and camel trip through the heart of the Stans with guaranteed real security guards. Despite the ISIS risk, Samarkand still looks enticing.

My next two future trips I'd like to take are a trip to Hawaii and then a trip that manages Ireland/London/Paris.

Both of these are feasible, with Hawaii probably in 2016 and London/Paris in 2017. I've been to London before and want to spend more time there.

There's a lot I want to do, but my dream would be to just sort of trek through a few countries in Asia. And yeah, I hope to do it someday.

beach or lake house with private water access, somewhere where the water is really nice. I want to swim, swim, swim, lay in sun and read, sit on the patio and eat good food. Only my fiancé is invited. I don't want have to see any other human beings unless I go out to the store or something. I will never get to do this, but it's pretty much the only fantasy I have.

I have a similar fantasy, except that it doesn't require complete isolation. But yes, swimming, long walks on the beach or bike trips along the wooded edge of the pine barrens, sun, good food and books = earthly paradise as far as I'm concerned.

I'd love to visit Australia and then go onto New Zealand afterwards, the main attraction for me is going to see the Hobbit stuff but I'd also just love to look around in general and explore.

I'd also love to visit China and walk along the great wall, and if I could visit Japan again one day that would be amazing.

1) Long-ass, multi-city trip across Europe, dragging along a bunch of friends. Probably Ireland -> France -> Northern Italy -> Austria or something like that. Just as slow and lingering as possible in each place, really taking your time.

2) Go to Japan and just eat all the ramen and drink all the beer

these all sound awesome but if i had to pick only one place to visit I'd pick Italy.
