But GoT is all about the grey grey-ity grey grey. And TBH, it makes sense with everything we know about his character. He's stern and rough and unyielding, but the people he cares about (i.e. Davos, Shireen) he really does care about. He just doesn't show it because he's a dick.

Me too. Well, I guess it's not like I don't don't care, but her stuff has always been so far removed from everyone else. I really want to see her and Tyrion finally meet.

Barristan is probably dead so Tyrion and Jorah can take his place to advise/protect Dany. Makes it easier for her to accept Jorah back.

Also joining you in the forever NOOOOOOO Barristan camp.

He and Dany had such a nice lighthearted conversation and I was like "awwwwww." And then the Unsullied got attacked and I was like "whatever." And then I saw Barristan rushing through the city to help them was just all "GODDAMMIT HE'S GONNA DIE. ISN'T HE. DAMN YOUR NO-HAPPINESS-EVER FORESHADOWING, SHOW."

Sadly, I'm not caught up to the books yet. :c But you can make a new comment about the thing!

ALSO YES why did they have to give us that sweet scene with Barristan and Dany. Why. :((

Okay, yeah. It was somewhat related to Loras and essentially how his plot has completely deviated from the books at this point. So book readers are just as worried as you. (And then if you had read the books, I'd talk to you about those deviations and how they might possibly thematically intersect??? But yeah.)

(In general I'm rather loving this season because of it. Like in the books, we've already run out of Sansa chapters and she's still in the Vale so I have no fucking clue what's going to happen with her this season. There's an entire character Arianne Martell who's not in the show, so the entire Dorne plotline is different... etc... Either things will continue to be totally different or show people will soon start to spoil the book people.)

Poor Barristan! I really enjoyed him and his fantastic voice, so I'm sad to see him go. Hopefully Greyworm survives.

That Shireen/Stannis scene was beyond adorable! Though with every new scene she is in, I'm even more convinced she's gonna die.

Petyr, you are a fucking idiot for taking Sansa to the Boltons in the first place, but even more so for leaving her there alome. I knew he was summoned by Cersei, but goddamn it. Hopefully Sansa and Theon team up to murder Ramsay and Roose with help from the people of the North.

Tommen is adorably incompetent. I fear for the poor kid.

Loving Jaime and Bronn's dynamic and adventures in Dorne so far. Their banters is fantastic. Would kill for a spinoff tbh.
