No, I don't think so. She's just got this total paranoiac fear of everything, like someone's going to steal her credit card info by staring at her purse too long or something and sell her social security number to North Korea. She's also afraid of brown people, anyone who doesn't dress conservatively, "Mooslims," vaccines, doctors, hospitals, socialism, Obama, GMO food, scientists, liberals, the Middle East, Japan, China, the British, video games, anything with references to demons or Satan or Hell, sci-fi and fantasy, rock music, snakes and goats (for religious reasons), feminists, gay rights, atheists, and me leaving the house.

You can probably guess what political party she votes for.

I love my mom, but she's a weirdo and I didn't really realize just how much her religion drives her politics and personality until I became an atheist.
