I agree with the others saying that smut/kink gets fewer comments and kudos in some fandoms, because people don't want to admit they liked it, etc. so unless people are actually telling you that you can't write smut well, I am inclined to think you can.

Anyway, write what you like, OP, as others have said. If you like kudos and comments, then even one response makes something worthwhile. You know it means that 10 or 20 or 100 other people saw it and liked it but didn't make a public response. If you enjoy writing and posting, you're not forcing anyone to read it, carry on, OP!
