13. I haven't finished the game yet, so I don't really know all that much about him, but it totally boggled me how he shows up, makes this completely awesome speech, and then all the characters are like, "OH MY GOD, HE'S SO EVIL. LET'S GO ON EPIC QUESTS TO DO THINGS TO PREVENT HIS EVIL. EVIL EVIL EVIL." It kinda seemed to come out of nowhere. So yeah, Vayne = pretty hardcore as far as I can tell.

26. Drabbles are awesome. Personally, the only things I can write Huge Epic Stuff for are episodic series like Batman, where you can mess around with fan-episodes and all that. I think the whole point of fanfic is to experiment with things that weren't in the original and drabbles/vignettes/one-shots are really good ways of doing that.

13. Eh, no. By the time they go questing, the only goal is to get Penelo back. Larsa and Ashelia start steering the plot after that. Vayne's true goal doesn't come in until muuuuuuch later, after meeting Al-Cid, at which point Larsa and Ashelia have completely taken over the quest... with good reason, at that. The thought of actually fighting Vayne doesn't even occur to the characters until the very end.

Ummm...yeah I'm agreeing with the person above me.

I mean, as far as I know (I'm only to the Henne Mines right now)...

Wait...did you say Lamont? Did I see that? Maybe I'm hallucinating...

Anyways, where I am, there isn't exactly an obvious villain. Except for maybe...no, there isn't. Just random boss fights and stuff.

It's good times though. Vayne does sort of give off evil vibes. But their questing is usually pretty practical (Get out of Nalbina, get Penelo, get captured, quest out to find the Dawn Shard, quest to Jahara to find out about the Dawn Shard, start out towards Mt. Bur-Omisace, get side-tracked to find Mjrn, probably then go to Mt. Bur-Omisace...

Whatever. It's mostly just one thing, and then another thing. Vayne got punished, but where I am he's still relatively sympathetic.
