or maybe not a major but let's be real. they flaunt that they would be 'an embarrassment' in their english department if *gasp* their secret got out and fuck up the difference between lose and loose?

I realized recently that academics (especially in literature) are just paid fanbrats.

Secret:
I sometimes worry that if my department found out about my fanfiction I'd loose my job.

OMG so they have a job in academics (possibly in English/Literature if we go by assumptions) and they don't know the difference between lose and loose? Even if they do know the difference, they couldn't possible be bothered to proofread their secret? An academic? Please!
