Oh I've been around the block: Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Bleach, Naruto, Torchwood, Sherlock Holmes, Jeeves & Wooster... yeah. pretty much everywhere.

That doesn't make me less grossed out by fangirls slavering over explicit descriptions of adolescents doing the nasty.

I don't understand. It's not the NC-17 material that grosses you out, but the fact that other people (and yes, older than teenaged) enjoy reading it?

Erotica is enjoyed by people of all ages, whether 17 or 35, when it's done well. I was 17 once, and I remember how exciting the newness of everything was. That doesn't mean at 35 that I'd want to fuck a 17 year old. What part of that don't you get, exactly?
