I think that fights between friends tend to put more emphasis on the reason the characters are fighting and their personality/worldview/job responsibility differences, and less on "token fight therefore draaaaammaaaaa!!! Will they break up/realize their ~twoo feewings~??" But that depends on the show/movie/book. Have you ever seen the inane crap in the frirndships on ER? Serious junior high school shit there.
