This one friendship with a guy about three years back. At first I thought he was a genuinely sweet and nice guy. Then later I found out he was an extreme version of a Nice Guy. And not just to me but to other people.

Needlessly to say I'm so glad to be away from him because he turned out to be one of the most genuinely creepy and manipulative people I hav ever met.

People like that are the worst omg. That whole seeming decent and then you find out they're like, Redpillers or something.

Yeah every time I think about this guy I always get the feeling he came straight out of a horror film of some sort. The kicker for me was finding out he had sexually harassed/threatened a 14 yr old.

I guess I'm lucky because in the end, a lot of people now knew how creepy he was.

I'm glad you jettisoned him from your life, y'all don't need that shit.

Yeah I definitely did. After learning that, any guilt I had because of not being into him after he'd been dropping hints (and he ended up really obvious and passive-aggressive about it) was erased after learning that. The more I learned about him the worse it got. He tried it on other teens but was less successful because by the end of it all, most everyone knew he was one creepy asshole.

Good on you. No one should feel guilty about not being into someone. And that is INCREDIBLY creepy behavior, ugh.

Yeah getting over that part was easy enough. The entire thing was a clusterfuck though so some days I still feel really shitty about being friends with him. At least I figured out which people really were my friends because they didn't give me the whole, "You were too naive to trust him," shit that others did.

Ugh, I hear that. At least they did you the favor of showing their dickery flat out so you could get rid of them faster?

All in all I guess it turned out okay. He got exposed as a fucking creep so I'm just glad more people ended up aware of that.
