(Anonymous) 2015-05-08 04:00 am (UTC)(link)Dear fandom friends, I get that you identify really strongly with a lot of characters. I get that you really like those characters. But please, you don't have to magically gain a "kin" from every new thing you consume. I love you all dearly, but sometimes I would just like to tell you that you can like and identify with characters without claiming that you are them. And that you come off as really hypocritical for then shit talking other people for also being kin of the same characters.
I won't say anything though, because you're really good friends and I don't want to lose the friendship. I just wish you wouldn't go on about this so often.
