Text: I know that according to Rule 34, erotic fanwork of them would exist eventually.

But I am genuinely surprised (and slightly uncomfortable about) that a significant amount of the fanfiction that already exists is for Rick/Morty

I know fandom has a tendency to ship any two male charactes together, but I would have thought they'd explore a couple other non-canon ships before shipping a teenage boy with his alcoholic grandfather.

I just don't get the appeal of this ship
