The longer, more complicated version depends on a few variables, such as how attached the system member is to the body. For instance, Falcon is a man, and if he fronted in this body, he'd be seen as trans. However, he never fronts, and has never actually experienced life as a trans person; most of his time, he spends elsewhere, where he is viewed as cis.
And then you have people like Sneak or M.D., who aren't normatively gendered but have issues with the idea of being trans. Sneak will accept the label, but isn't very comfortable with it, since zer entire experience of being trans is basically a pronoun change. M.D. simply aggressively doesn't care.
And considering how much modification this vessel has undergone, I have to wonder whether I have much right to call myself cis anymore!
