also lol @ the idea that you HAVE to wear tampons to contain your blood. I got my period what, about half my life ago now? and I have never used a tampon. Pads are a thing that exists! So are mooncups. And rags.

Cripes.

And someone is way missing the point, tampons were invented to give women MORE freedom by making them not housebound for a week out of every month, not as a tool of oppression, it's literally the opposite, and that point stands no matter who invented them.
