I don't think any bodily function is inherently gross or wrong, but that doesn't mean you should leak all over public property

This. Just because something is natural and everyone does it doesn't mean it should actually get intentionally smeared on stuff unless it's in the privacy of your own home

I don't think sneezing or saliva is disgusting or wrong in itself.

If someone of either gender drooled all over a public bus seat that's pretty disgusting.

And it was a woman who made me wipe my nose more than antyhing! (Thanks mom, I'm sure 4 year old me would have looked pretty stupid otherwise)

It's not wrong to urinate, it's not wrong to talk about it and celebrate it as a normal human body function...

...but you still don't do it in public because that's fucking gross, stains clothes, makes messes, smells bad, and is unhygienic.

Also if you injure yourself in public there are steps people have to take to clean the blood up because blood is a potential biohazard.

Don't get caught up in the buzzwords. We're talking about a bathroom function here.

If your point is that periods shouldn't be stigmatized, then I am behind you 100% but you don't need free bleeding for that.
