I have the sads...

Why are you so expensive strawberries, raspberries, blueberries?
Why do you cost so much lettuce and green beans?
WHY?
And lean meat...jesus christ. Want to buy some lean beef? Haha FUCK YOU.
At least eggs are still fairly manageable although it can't be doing anything good for my cholesterol to be eating 4 boiled eggs a day.

(Anonymous) 2015-05-10 01:30 am (UTC)(link)you may want to cut down to 1-2 yolks and 4 egg whites but 1-2 yolks a day is not bad for most people
egg whites don't even have any cholesterol

Re: I have the sads...
(Anonymous) 2015-05-10 01:35 am (UTC)(link)I get that the white is where the protein is and the yolks are the "bad" portion but it makes me cringe to think of throwing them out.
What else am I supposed to do with them otherwise, just keep collect the yolks?
Re: I have the sads...
You could always save them for tomorrow's meal too. Also add other legumes for your protein?
Re: I have the sads...
(Anonymous) 2015-05-10 01:43 am (UTC)(link)bake them into cake or pudding or sauces for later
if you have a pet it's good for their fur (cooked ofc for salmonella reasons)
you can also use them as homemade hair or skin care

Or you can do like I do, and go to a local farm and pick 20lbs of strawberries for $30 when the time comes, then freeze them for the year ahead.
