Don't add extras when you're already procrastinating. I'm also a massive procrastinator, so I tried to promise myself (or worse, others) to do extra stuff to make up for my tardiness, just so I would feel less guilty.

Just get it done. maybe tell him how much you improved. He sounds like he would appreciate that.

Text: Although I wasn't really into the same games he was, I still tried to talk to him about them because, gosh darn it, I LIKED HIM.

He plays a certain online game, and in the midst of me crushing for him, he asks if he can commission me to draw his character. I say "sure, no prob, I do this sort of thing all the time, haha" but I was lying out my ass, this was my first ever art commission, and I'm nervous as fuck. Worse, I'm a horrible procrastinator (and also super depressed too |(^^)/.)

Anyway, the months go by, I get caught up with work and IRL shit, and there's the commission still completely undone and, in my opinion, looking like shit. This goes on to the point where it's ONE WHOLE YEAR LATER, and yet, this dude is still super nice to me and super supportive. It was breaking my bitter heart….

On the bright side, I worked my ass of artistically, and now I'm a much better artist for it, just to make this dude happy for waiting so long. I think I'm going to include some goodies/extras just to say 'thanks for being so cool with me."
