They didn't say that their opinion of Hiddleston would change if Tumblr called him problematic, they said they'd stop feeling so smug about liking him if the internet turned on him. That doesn't mean they'd like him less, just that they'd be sad to no longer feel that sense of satisfaction that comes with fangirling someone/something that the internet doesn't have any dirt on.
