Seriously? "kill yourself" is 'just an expression' now?

You honestly don't see why making "kill yourself" a common expression is a very very very BAD idea? Sure maybe it will start as being 'just for people who are ignorant or 'deserve it' but if it gets common enough, people will pick it up, teenage kids and others will pick it up and use it on other kids. The way insults often do.

Why shouldn't we take telling someone to kill themselves literally rather than hand waving it?
