I agree.

When you're overwhelmingly raised with hetro as the default, you don't even see how weird that behavior is. A couple of years in fandom where m/m and f/f fiction is as common as tripping over a brick, wall to wall heterosexuality in any media without good reason suddenly looks as unnatural as it always was.
