I know what you mean, OP. I saw Babadook a few weeks ago and kept glancing out of the corner of my eye to see how my mother was reacting. I was a bit... Difficult as a child growing up, and after my 'grumpy emo teen' phase, I mellowed out a lot, but I still feel so incredibly guilty about how hard it must have been for her raising me.

Of course, if I tried to apologize to her, she would probably say that it's okay, that it's part of being a parent, but still.
