Yes, how very dare people like het, or even prefer it. Shame on them.

OP's issue isn't "some people like het". It's "in a fandom where only one out of the 100+ characters is male, it's kind of weird that most of the fanworks are het".

It's not weird to people who *gasp* enjoy het.

As someone who *gasp* enjoys het... yeah, it's weird. c:

NGL, it is pretty weird that it's so common for het fans to set up shop in fandoms that seem so ill-suited to accommodate their needs.

No weirder than slash fans doing the same, really.

People ship where they ship, regardless of what canon has to say about the matter.

Considering that there are vastly more het-friendly canons than there are slash-friendly canons, I don't think they're both just as weird.

(Anonymous) 2015-05-13 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
They're exactly as weird as one another. Which is to say not actually weird at all.

(Anonymous) 2015-05-13 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
Whatever you say.

Hahahahahaha as though a heeeeeeell of a lot of the Japanese fandom isn't made up of creepy neckbeards.

(Anonymous) 2015-05-13 03:44 pm (UTC)(link)
My thoughts exactly.
