That movie made no goddamn sense, but Elysium did look pretty. It was supposed to.

On an unrelated note, the movie would also have made a lot more sense without the shoehorned love interest. The real chemistry was between the two guys but they had to throw that all away two thirds in. There was a great movie in there struggling to get past the mess.

I just want Sharlto Copley to be cast in everything. He's always amazing even with mediocre material.

(also, how did I know he was South African? I know all countries have their own weird names, but this one struck me as obviously South African, and I don't know why)

Oh, some people in his AMA figured out it was a messed-up spelling of Sholto (odd Scottish name). His mom heard it in a radio play, which would explain why she didn't know how to spell it.
