I still enjoy the MCU as a whole but I was a bit disappointed by AoU, and the more I hear about Cap 3 the more of a clusterfuck I think it's going to be which makes me sad because the Cap movies are my faves after the Thor films.

But I've got some others I'm looking forward to seeing so I'm not burnt out yet.

I'm not looking forward to how, on paper, Cap 3 looks like Avengers 2.5

I mean... if it fixes the mistakes of AoU, more power to it, but one of the main problems was that there was too many characters to begin with!

Avengers 2.5 is bloody right and it's just drained my enthusiasm for it, I'll still go see it and I'm not trying to be too down on it beforehand but I just do not see how they're going to juggle all the characters they've shoved into it. AoU was a bit of a mess imo because of just how many characters there were and in the next Cap movie they're doing the same thing and I just... *sigh*

All I needed in a Cap movie was Steve, Natasha, Sam and Bucky(with Fury, Hill and Sharon + badguy making appearances too). But with this? I don't know what to make of it.

(Maybe it will be fine and my worry will be for nothing but I'm finding it hard to keep my hope alive atm).

I feel kind of cheated because I wanted the whole... buddy cop-esque plot where Steve and Sam tour America/the world looking for Bucky, they stumble upon some shit going down, and Natasha and Bucky are there as they take it on...

Guess I'll have to turn to fandom for that one. I like my Cap movies more self contained, not stuffed to the brim with extra Avengers.

Yup, that was the kind of thing I wanted too but well, guess not.

Same here, I don't need all the heroes in a solo film, that's what the Avengers movies are for.
