I'm just bummed that one of my favorite characters (Bruce) isn't going to be in the MCU at all for a hell of a long time, while everyone else's favorites stayed.
I mean one of the main reasons I wanted to see AOU was to see Bruce again.
And now I have to wait ANOTHER four years?
Like holy fuck that's not fair.

Fellow Bruce fan who's not exactly surprised. He gets more or less the same treatment in his own canon (unless we're talking Pak's Run. Oh, sweet Pak's Run...) since people usually need Hulk instead.

I filled the void by watching Mark Ruffalo movies for three years. It wasn't the same, but didn't disappoint, oddly enough.

Yeah I mean I'm not completely surprised he ran off, since he did it all the time in the comics, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. :(
And since he's not gonna show up in Civil Wat, I can already tell fandom is gonna entirely ignore his existence and character just like they always do and ughhj its just not fair. :((

The Mark Ruffalo movies idea sounds pretty good though, lol.

The only hope I'm holding out for during CW is Ross goading Tony over Bruce's disappearance. I won't forgive Bruce's absence, but the last Russo movie had two Bruce references, which is better than absolutely nothing.

Mark Ruffalo seems to play kind of the same guy in a lot of his movies. Mumbley, socially awkward, that kind of thing. So in a way it's like watching AU!Bruce Banners doing their thing. :P
