I hooked up with several guys who were in their 20s and even their 30s when I was 15-16. They were all a lot more respectful of my boundaries and my wishes than any 16-year-old I hooked up with. My personal experience has been that hooking up with older men was so, so much better for me than exploring my sexuality with other teenagers.

I'm glad you didn't have a terrible experience. There are a lot of disrespectful guys who I think like young girls at least partly because they think they're easier to manipulate or get away with treating badly, though (at least I ran into some of these, and often had trouble getting rid of them).

(also, how many of the creepy older guys are going to read this and decide it's their duty to "help" a bunch of teenagers explore their sexuality?)

But stuff like "emotional manipulation" are a thing in RELATIONSHIPS, not in having a fling with someone. I don't get how ever time we talk about "underage" sex people start to act like people have to connect on a personal level for that. Sometimes it's just putting one sexual organ in (the general vicinity) of another person's sexual organ because it feels good.

Cool story bro, but that doesn't change the fact that a 30 who has the desire to hook up with a 15 year is actually a fucking peadophile. Also if by "hooked up" you mean had sex- thats statutory rape.
