mab_browne: Starsky and Hutch (Starsky and Hutch)

I love the little half grab Hutch makes just before this moment, as if he doesn't want to burden Starsky with his grief. You have great taste in tear jerking scenes.

Like he didn't know how to stand his grief and for a second couldn't imagine how Starsky could hold it all and stand it too, since they're one entity, not two, before his trust overrode everything and he just broke and stopped thinking and poured it all out absolutely knowing that there was no limit to what Starsky could take for him. The taste in tearjerking scenes is very agreed on.

IMO this is one of just a few scenes I've seen (in anything) that is untranslatable out of live-action performance medium. Any descriptions are necessarily inaccurate and I guess this is why fans tend to refer to this scene as though it is self-evident, rather than squee over it like with some other scenes.
