To be fair, anything from Marvel that's called Civil War is bound to have Iron Man in it and anyone who's surprised by that should go read some comics...

The problem, though, is that the movie's title is Captain America: Civil War. The Civil War storyline should never have been adapted for a single character's film; it's just too ensemble-y for that. Speaking for myself and my other comic book reading friends, we're not "surprised" by Iron Man's inclusion. Rather, we're disappointed that Marvel didn't let the Captain America films continue rocking their own groove and do Civil War as a separate film (if they really had to do Civil War at all).
