Can't comment on Forever, but I think Gotham has its moments. I didn't go into it expecting much, but in some ways I was pleasantly surprised. (Harvey Bullock, Cobblepot and Fish are all excellent. Some characters definitely got the short end of the stick, like Barbara, Renee and Nygma.)

I actually had a lot of fun with the first season, but I didn't take it too seriously either.
