WTF, are you kidding me? Storm is horribly, horribly miscast, and I want a short guy for Wolverine, but the last two movies were really damn good.

Probably because they didn't focus on Storm at all

I think prefer the newer movies because the cast has better chemistry with each other (especially Fassbender and McAvoy). Then again, it could just be because they had some reallllllyyyy weak actors in the first three.

DA. Eh, I think both movie sets had their good and their bad in the casting department. I love both sets of Xavier and Magneto and both sets have chemistry. Jennifer Lawrence is a TERRIBLE Mystique though and the movies really suffer because they concentrate a lot on her.

I think the movie that everyone agrees has massive problems is X3, but the first 2 were pretty entertaining.

But Days of Future Past had both casts and it was pretty good. Like anon before said they didn't concentrate on Storm and what scenes she was in you didn't see her weaknesses as an actress as much as in the previous movies. Everything came together well in that movie, which actually surprised me because when I first heard about it I thought the amount of people in the cast might be a problem.

By 'the last two movies' do you mean First Class / Days of Future Past? Or X2/X3? Because I don't know much about the X-Men movies but I do know that X3 is considered... not good.

That is why DOFP was basically designed to completely erase the events of X3. Fox was like, DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET THAT SHIT OUT OF HERE!
